About me
I love food! I love eating, making and feeding people food. I am so lucky to have been working with food most of my life and to have been doing this job for over 20 years.
Coming from a long line of cooks, it was somewhat inevitable that I continued the family trait. My degree in Home Economics taught me more about life than anything else and I followed it with a post graduate in marketing. Working for a London agency marketing restaurants gave me the opportunity to combine both aspects. Some years later I spent 15 months eating my way round the world and came home to use my extended food knowledge and join the world of food styling and writing.
Working with some of the UK’s top food photographers and with an extensive range of clients I create food for advertising, design and PR, editorial, packaging, point of sale, B2B and social media.
I love the challenge of creating food that makes people want to eat. We are surrounded by temptation these days, particularly visually, and to be able to convince someone to use a recipe or buy a product is exciting!
